a) did not know how to drive a taxi; or

You out of job or the job out of you, if it is the job out of you, go find a job, dun give excuses that you are out of jobs, there are 89,000jobs available at MOM job banks and 35000 available at WDA, 20,000 at e2i, and about 40,000 available in open market recruitment agents. Taxis or HDT should be your last resort

B) I also work very hard. From CCK cannot find pax all the way drive back to AP join queue.

CBD $3 too little I rather drive back to AP and queue for $5.

My personal experience/ thoughts after 5 wks of taxi driving.

Taxi driving is not as simple as i thought

Driving leisurely is different from driving to earn income

Less quality sleep

Body aching

Boring

Stressful

Must be on road for long hrs to make a living

literally no offdays

I am fortunate that my past jobs are more relaxing so unable to take the hardship

Freedom and a few nice encounters with pax are the only thing I personally enjoyed

Throw liao?nevermind,next time can drive again!Even i as a delivery driver for 25 yrs,when i start as taxi driver...i also stress!I going to quit at first day after drive 4 3 hrs n park at Upper Seletar Reservoir!BUT why other can,I CAN'T???So i carry on for 4 yrs ( i regret never join taxi trade early,earning is:)now:(but still decent earning)after i got high blood n cdg X1 mdt problem...i throw n rest till now!B4 i start driving taxi,i use about 6 month learn n read the forum about taxi driving...This must thanks to the Poolman n the gang n all the taxi forum ppl..:):):)!
