Any Singaporeans around Washington DC area?

Reaching city end of this month. Appreciate any advice on
lifestyle, working environment over there.
typically folks live outside of DC and commute into DC via
metro .
Logging might be a bit difficult prepared to pay.
Reason....there are always constant movement of people coming into
DC to work for the federal govt. So investigate more on
logging.
Weather -- is one of the area where you have a clear cut date
for 4 season. The longerest wet weather i have
ever experience. -- 6 days continuous., almost strike by
lighting in the summer weather just like SG. moderate snow during
winter. Spring is nice your spouse wil like it.
A rather diplomatics enviornment. Given the nature of the place
itself, more formal. Most of the news will be adsorb by the hill.
You still need a Car.
travel to the bay for Eastern softshell crab....clams. coast is
2 hours drive. Atlantics is a great place. Like the bay, like the
beach.
