Means the testes left in the abdomen or within the inguinal
canal instead of descending into the scrotum. The testis develops
in the abdomen like the ovaries of the female. However, in males,
the testes descend into the scrotum but if they fail to do that,
they cannot produce sperm satisfactorily and also carries a higher
risk of malignancy.
