When it has affected your vision already, you have to see the doc. If it is an infection, he/she may give you antibiotic eye drops. When it is an allergy, the doc may give you eye drops which help you with the allergy.

It doesn't sound like conjunctivitis but still visit the doc before it gets even worse.

Hi,

Jus need some advice

I took postinor2 on 31st mar.

then suffered from fatigue and nausea 2 days after it. it lasted for 3days.

Last afternoon, I started bleeding.
In the product label, it states its side effects of bleeding (withdrawl and spontaneous) 2-3days after. Is my bleeding considered that? Even if so, what is withdrawal or spontaneous bleeding.

How do I know if I am alright?

I think your bleeding is the early start of your period. Is it a weak bleeding, just spots, or a bleeding like during the period. (both are the side effects)

I am not sure what is the withdrawal bleeding, I suppose it is the case when the abortion happened, and spontaneous bleeding should be the period (which can start earlier after taking Postinor). But not sure about it.

Have you taken just 1 pill or both pills as it should be?

When taking Postinor 2, you should visit the doc to check if it worked and you really are not pregnant, moreover when you suffered the side effects.

Don't take Postinor more then once a month, instead use a proper contraception - condoms or the pills, then you don't have to be worried and don't have to create a new ID in the forums to stay anonymous. Responsibility Wink

Yes its like my period.

I took it as it was. 2 pills, twelve hrs apart. okie the second dose was 2 hours late though.

You mean i will still concieve even after bleeding?
why is it so that when you say I suffer from the side effects, i'd better go check? you mean they are e signs of conception?

If your bleeding is like your normal period and has occurred at the usual time of your period, then there's nothing to worry about yet. If you get a normal period the following month (with effective barrier contraceptive), then you can set your mind at ease...you are not pregnant.

However, if your menses the following month is late or abnormal in some way, it will be worthwhile to do a pregnancy test. Postinor has a 85% effective rate, which means that it can fail in a significant number of cases nonetheless. What I would be more concerned about is the possibility of an ectopic pregnancy....vaginal bleeding may not necessarily mean there is no pregnancy.

So I suggest you watch your next menses and do a pregnancy test to set your mind at ease..

Early bleed could be due to the effect of the drug on the endometrium, which means you are not out of the woods yet with regard to pregnancy. But if you get a normal period next , than uterine pregnancy can be excluded. The pregnancy test will be positive by 6th week of conception.

next normal period...if the expected date of your next period come without normal menses, you should see your GP for a pregnancy test.

There are quite a number of different types, with different genetic aberrations. I presume you are thinking of Freiderich's ataxia?

No cure as far as I know..perhaps in time gene therapy might be a possible approach..
