manualisbetter SG I have a good friend working in Champion. If you are interested, i could ask her to call you. I will not get anything from this but i just want to recommend your prospect to her. You have contact number for her to call?
manualisbetter SG I checked with her again and the answer to your query is: ~13.5km per litre ~4.5k for the deposit. So you interested anymore?
caveart74 SG Interested......so wat the current price...n how long i will get car? Coz i need 2 plan...planning to sell my existing car n buy ignis sport
manualisbetter SG Maybe you can talk to her directly, i will send you a personal mail instead later. Selling and buying is normally bundle together for owner with old car as long as you could accept the price suggested by the 2nd hand car dealer... normally is quite reasonable at the market price...
caveart74 SG Went 4 test drive.....very impressed Wat r the freebie she can give...one agent there give me a addition 60% discount on solar film.
manualisbetter SG Now you have to buy from the sales agent who has served you for the test drive. I think this is the normal business practise for new car buying. You can ask around for freebies from other agent but unless he/she wants to undercut the deal, you must buy from the first agent. Case closed...
sirlee SG 13.2km to 13.5km per litre. Every gear change @ 3000rpm. Every 3 days redlined once. Normal speed @ express way 100km/h,sometimes 120km/h @ 4ooorpm. I think 13++km per litre quite ok lah.
caveart74 SG Oh dear...i m so sorry...coz i m free on tat sat. N really tempted to test drive. Anyway thanks 4 the help
sirlee SG I bought @ 69.5k. Cons ah?.... 1.2 doors loh... my mama every time nag at me when she wans to get into my car. she wanted me to get a 4 drs car..but... 2.car quite bouncy cos of the sports suspension.my gal friend also claim my car to be uncomfortable.... 3.the 2 recaro seats quite "hot" loh....i mean the material used... Other than all this, is the after markets parts quite hard to find, like strutbar, airfilter, window n sun visiors.... But dun worry,I managed to find all this stuff... if u really buy ignis sports, then i can advice u more how to get the parts..
zacc SG Hi just got my Ignis sport for a mth...am enjoyin every moment of it... use to drive a auto car and boy what a difference hey Sirlee can check with you if your ignis got the seatbelt not fastened warning light?Mine dont and the SE told me that IS model dont have leh...i mean its pretty basic rite?(con)i thought i saw it when i test drove... Also when u first start engine does all yr doors automatically lock? My baby monster also dont leh...(con2) hee hee maybe too used to creaturely comfort from my previous car...
sirlee SG Hi!!me too!!!!After driving 2.5yrs of my dad toyota soluna (auto) i felt quite stressed when i drive my ignis sport out...but nw ok liao... yup,no auto lock when u start yr engine. No seatbelt not fastened warning light also.. So wat colour u have chosen? Which place u staying? I stay in jurong area.
manualisbetter SG Is it becos too many on road ask you to race and you not used to the manual gear changing Actually, Ignis Sport will attract racer attention or not? Those driving what you think?
zacc SG I got a silver though i think the red is damn cool.i stay in tampines.Just drove my family auto car again and it felt so sluggish. From my personally experience IS is relatively unknown in Sin u know how some bigger cars think its such small petite car and like to how lian by zooming pass ...but at least now can give hondas, beemers and mercs a run for their money.
2004Lancer SG my friend just scraped his 1-month-old IGNIUS coz he could not claim insurance after he overturned his IGNIUS at Pasir Gudang race track... owners beware hor...don't corner too hard.....
sirlee SG Cant adapt at first...always 'si che'.... Got a lot of civic come n tekan me.juz take car have to run in mah..then the civic come n squeeze my backside....signal let them but but still continue to push me.....haiz.... now run in liao.....heh heh...
sirlee SG Do be extra careful when cornering at high spd,cos 1.Our wheel base is short 2.Riding height is higher 3.Rim size 5' thick (185 55 R15) I change my rim....to 6.5' thick 195 55 R15 Handling better,n it is lighter than the original Enkei rims! Tyre used is yokohama AVS sport.
zacc SG I change my rim....to 6.5' thick 195 55 R15 Handling better,n it is lighter than the original Enkei rims! Tyre used is yokohama AVS sport.[/b]Will it void the waranty of suspension? Was thinking of changing rims to 17' but changed my mind. But now will consider upgrading to 6.5' thickness.hey bro how much it cost u to do that? btw what is the colour of yr ride?
