lariod83 SG just got mine last month..live in toa payoh.. oh boy its a gd car. very gd respond.. minimum roll too.. although its not so attractive from its outlook but definately worth the price you pay for its performance.. and sirlee where did you look for its acessories???
sirlee SG No it wont void the waranty of suspension.the rim size is up to u to change loh.I dun wan to up size as i dun wan to 'slow' down my pick up frm 0-100km/h.tats y i remain in 15'.some pple juz wan nice look....I heard my friend saw a IS wif 17' rim... I m using ROTA rims frm philippines,though it is not those popular rims like enkei,momo...wat i think is as long as it is light yet strong rim i dun mind loh.I heard my friend who play car for quite long,said tat rota rims is much more better than taiwan rims.actually he got the feedback frm his friend who had used the 2 different types of rim n 'had hit' the rims loh.Rota rims only got stretches while the other 1 warp(out of shap). Dun worry i m not Rota rims seller...Tats how i feel abt the current sets of rim i m using loh...Lighter than the stock enkei rims,together wif tyres .....handling nw is better... I spend $800 on the Rota rims plus tyres.2nd hand rims but respray new paint,condition quite good...tyres r AVS sports done only 1k km... I think 1 new single Rota rim cost ard $115.. my car is black,without the suzuki motor sports sticker.dun like...
sirlee SG Wat accessories u r looking for? I got my air filter imported in frm suzuki sports frm Japan.Kind of xpensive... strutbar i got it frm my friend who had custom made. The rest like voltage stabalisier,sparkplugs can change at Stamford tyres. Now still in the progess of saving $$ to do my exhaust the upgrade ECU...
lariod83 SG oic.. i change my spark plugs at stamford tyres too....how much do u need to upgrade ur exhaust?? mine is red without the sticker too..i know a few ignis sports at paya lebar airbase.. theres 3 there one yellow, one black and one silver.
sirlee SG I thought there is 1 blue 1?I not frm Airforce nor army.... To import in frm Japan will cost me ard $1k plus,depending whether is the muffler only,or only front pipe. if change this 2 together i think wil cost ard $2k... Each of the items cost $600-$700 plus...tat does not include the "airfare" of tat item frm japan to spore... Currently i am looking/checking out whether Fong kim or Man exhaust can do the exhaust or not....at least wont cost me $2k plus... Havent pay them a visit yet.....

sirlee SG From my personally experience IS is relatively unknown in Sin u know how some bigger cars think its such small petite car and like to how lian by zooming pass ...but at least now can give hondas,beemers and mercs a run for their money. Yup,cant stand those pple wif big cars like to bully small cars... Juz meet 1 black lexus RX300 on PIE few days back...he juz went push a fit/jazz in 3rd lane ....wanting really to kiss the poor fit/jazz..so when i drive past him at 4th lane he come n push me....shine his HID white light in my cabin....signal left let him past but he also follow me!!!! i slow till 60km/h till he finally overtake me,then i go push him til 150kmlh... (koe tats dangerous but really let him made me till very hot )ard tat speed he didnt increase anymore so i overtake him on the left then exit jurong....waste my petrol
manualisbetter SG That Lexus driver deserve to be kicked... At speed 150, you still have around 30-40 more to backup in case the front driver speed up. Well at least, the Lexus burnt more petrol than you in that speed
zacc SG btw performance wise on paper yr IS is better than that bugger's RX300 ie acc 0-100 8.9s compared to his 9.0s and top speed of 185km/h as oppose to his 180km/h. yeah go kick his a## for all he deserves.

lariod83 SG champions motor having a package now.. using maybank finance you can use maybank credit card for downpayment with interest-free 12 instalments. the package is down 4000plus(forgot the exact amt) then for 10 yrs monthly is 678.
lariod83 SG IS is really not that know in singappore yet. most ppl will ask me whats the brand of my car. even when i tell them they will ask me does suzuki have this model? yeah man let him know 'we' shouldn't be push around. had a similar incident with a civic vti on the tpe too... but manage to nudge him off when i accelerated to 140km/h.

manualisbetter SG I test driven in the chilli red one... and i think this colour is the nicest one... did not see any black one running around yet. I think using speed to gauge is better since different car have different RPM at speed. I stick to below 90-100 for at least the first 1000km before the first oil change.
