azlielx SG power lah... count me in.... although i muz admit... and i think i speak for a lotta ppl... i'm on for the idea but lazy to be organizer...
rabiz SG Hehz, that sounds like really a good idea to me... anyway... just checking with you guys, my door handle at the driver's door is a bit stiffer and less smooth when i open the door compared to the rest of the doors, does anyone have the same thing happening to them??
y720 SG well, the altis chief engineer commented everything (engine, suspension and chassis) is identical to the corolla except altis has more equipment and interior luxury. of cos, altis downside is it is from thailand (if u can call this a downside). would be interested to hear from those who have actually driven in both...
y720 SG during your next service, u can always ask BM service ppl to adjust for u. BM after-sales service is pretty good to me...
leewt SG Hello all Altis Owners, What say you guys if we get together one of the days at an open car park, say at East Coast. It would be nice if we could do that. Can compare cars and discussed on Altis issues. Maybe even rope in Borneo Motors for an article issue. OK, So far only moonraider, azlielx and rabiz responded with interest. Anyone else?

Toyota_supporter SG Has anyone done a calculation on the cost of owning an Altis vs other 1.6L model ??
leewt SG [quote] extraordinary haha/ why dun u al lwait for me to get my car first. heh! but its ok.. u all can start the ball rolling and fill us in! Well, if response is not favourable, nothimg much can be done but wait till the Altis Club expands.
moonraider SG Altis in Singapore is still very new. Started only this year. Unlike Thailand. Had visited their website but it's all in thai language. sigh.
moonraider SG Anyone has anything to comment about the Altis door rubber seal? I notice water is accumulated at the interior base of the door when it rains. Water does not flow in just trap.
tumerick SG Hi Guys! Any idea why only one rear fog lamp is lighted when activated? Don’t you think it is a bit funny that the buttons for the front & rea fog lamps is far apart!?
ronyyk SG Only one rear fog lamp is because of some european style, i read at a forum when this topic was raised. About the buttons far apart, i got no idea. I agreed with you that it is funny too.
Toyota_supporter SG Is only one rear fog light becos the other one is used for reverse light. I always use it during heavy rain when the visibility is low to improve safety. I think is a good feature. The switches are far apart becos the rear fog light is factory fitted and the front ones are fitted at BM. You notice there are slots for adding switches in front of the gear shift.
bsl SG Hi, nice to know that altis owners have a forum for comparing notes. I will be taking delivery of my mica grey altis next week. Heard many good feedbacks but would be better to hear some of the negative ones so as to request for early rectification while within warranty period. Anyone ? My friend complained of unsteady steering especially when travelling above 90 kph. It seems to have too much free play and this may need urgent attention.
relaxjack SG Drove at 140 km/h at NS Highway on Sat. The steering is quite responsive. The Altis is quite steady except at corners... need to slow down. Wind noise is minimal, engine noise is bearable and in fact 'fun' to hear. Some road noise, though, maybe due to the tyres used (Changed to 15" Goodyear NCT5 which I think is quite noisy. Should have chosen Yokohama tyres).
