"it is the same as men do not understand we women pregancy
and pain of delivery. Since History, men had been fighting each
other, building armies and buying weapons of destruction, and all
these while, we women never make a single noise.
I find nothing great about NS, and Sgmen should not take NS
as a feeling but rather a duty, and also Sgmen should not take NS
as looking themselve higher than all others. To us women, with or
without NS, makes no different. We never ask you go NS, it is the
laws, and the laws maker here are all men, so men are alway
knocking each other heads, both up and down."
I see where you're coming from, but tt's besides the point.
If you've read my earlier posts, you'll see that i'm not
comparing NS with pregnancy. That's not relevant to our discussion.
But if others want to raise the pregnancy tack to bash NSmen, we
will respond accordingly.
This isn't about who suffers more. No one wins an argument via
pain olympics. It's about asking ppl to put themselves in
our shoes. No one lambasted pregnant women. No one lambasted women
just for not doing NS. But we do take issue with those who not
only fail to appreciate our sacrifice, but maliciously belittle
it.
No one's asking others to praise us endlessly for
giving up 2 years. We're just asking them not to insult our
experiences.
