123 (Bt Merah - Tomlinson Rd) via ex-service 605 route to Tiong Bahru Rd, then current service 123 route to Orchard Blvd, then Tomlinson Rd and return.

The sector between Bt Merah and Orchard via Queensway and Holland Rd can be replaced by another service, perhaps 36?

I think should allow service 11 to serve longer journey. To stadium for geylang lor 1 is too short and low demand. For e.g to Tomlinson Rd (LOOP) Mr. Green !!!

Service 401 used to connect National Stadium area with Tomlinson Rd. Demand was very weak that's why it was shortened.

payne, hw often are u on the roads utilised by these svcs, may i ask? what makes u think tt sv123 has a low dd? is it bcoz u saw it once or twice w low ridership? it's not hard to see one on the road if u actually concentrate hard. Please note tt sv123 brings Bukit Purmei residents to Queensway & Orchard Rd which would have otherwise being served by the withdrawn CSS605. In addition, sv36 is benifiting residents going to the airport to the City & vice versa!

36 + 123 = Possible, but most likely rejected by SBS Transit.

11 - SBST might consider withdrawing the service when Stage 1 of the CCL starts operations, along with Service 93.

Don't remove 123. Should let it cover Golden Mile. There is currently no bus from Golden Mile to any part of Orchard. The former has been quite cut off since the NEL rationalisation ended. 961 & 980 only ply in one direction and return via Nth Bridge Rd & Jln Sultan.

93 should stay for rail replacement duty. Same for 70.

No it will not duplicate as it can serve Haig Road as there is no bus service along that road. People living at Haig Road can go Stadium and Parkway easily. Laughing

3. No right-turn from Mountbatten Road into Haig Road (if 11 is to travel straight from Upper East Coast)

If I'm not wrong, there is also no right turn from Haig Rd into Mountbatten Rd.

To be honest, some parts of Haig Rd are quite cut off. At least the food centre is close to Geylang Rd bus stops and PYL MRT. Hope the CCL will have a station close by.

Actually hope to have bus ply along haig road so that primary and secondary schools student can benefit. If you said the road is to narrow, how about joo chait road where service 16 and 33 can also ply along the road??? Smile

Haig Rd (between Geylang Rd and Dunman Rd) is within walking distance to nearby Geylang Rd, Tanjong Katong Rd and Dunman Rd where there are ample bus services.

Haig Rd (between Dunman Rd and Mountbatten Rd) is mainly private residential area so demand isn't high.

What about TKPS? They are primary school students and it's pityful that they had to walk all the way to Tanjong Katong or Mountbatten.
