Eh, CAIX, u should advice ur Grandma to wait for next sv36 wic should be another 3-4 mins away due to heavy road traffic & passenger loading during peak hrs. Many a times, i have noticed that sv36 has another bus following the 1st bus during peak hrs & the 2nd bus is less crowded...

This is not true on weekends if you wait for Service 36 in the city. After missing 1 bus, i waited for 14-15 mins for another bus and it would normally be as crowded.

S36 seriously needs an increase of fleet, it currently only has 14 buses total (and all 14 only do 36 during peak hrs).

The first and the last time I take SBS 1688K is on service 36. At that time was around year 2003 and I was wondering what type of bus this is, weird body, weird chairs… and the exit door opens outside. Now I know it is one of the special bus.

how about a sv36B during off peak? Marine Parade Road >> Tomlinson Road >> Marine Parade? then DDs can even be used.. bulk of passengers are from MP to City and vice versa mostly.
