No, it isn't. 518 goes to Elias Road via Drive 3 before hitting Drive 1 and down to Tampines. It doesn't go by 15's route.

How about sv 18?Does it need to reroute or looping somewhere else,Frankly speaking it is almost redundant service.

Sv 135 should terminate at Upp East Coast IMO.

Sv 61& 961 should shortened or ply some expressway to its route,I don't mind if the long journey is almost straight rather than winding ones.

Sv 51 No comments after the extension to Hougang Central.But too long and winding though.

Sv 68 Should extends its operation hours.

Sv 63 should cut short to Bt Merah Inter,So possibility of deploying DDs.Bt Merah can amended or introduced a svs to Rumah Tinggi.

18 can be merged into 168. Then maybe SBST can be forced to increase Sv 168's frequency Mr. Green

btw the TAM - BDK market is very overserved...look at the number of services...

Connecting to BDK Stn / Int : 9 17 18 28 31 38 67 69 168 = 9 services
Connecting to other parts of BDK : 8 15 21 22 23 65 = 6 services

Service 23 should go deeper into the city, for example loop at Stamford Rd and turn back via Selegie Rd.

Pretty weird for 23 to end at Rochor Canal Rd and turn back. Any particular reason for the loop there? Did it serve anyone else other than the Sim Lim Square visitors?

Sv 23 used to loop at Tomlinson Rd, serving Orchard Rd, but was cut back to Rochor Canal Rd after NSL opened.

If you want to know why there's so many services connecting Tampines and Bedok... simple..

From Tampines to other parts of singapore except the north east and far north, services still need to go past Bedok mahz... easy logic... same for Ang Mo Kio and Serangoon.. 22 24 70 76 133 135 136 connects the AMK - SGN market.

If you noticed these AMK services are heading east.

Not necessarily, they can use Bedok Nth Extension. Bedok Reservoir I don't consider a part of Bedok, it's more like Kaki Bukit to me. Mr. Green

Bedok North Rd Extn not too profitable...only go there to service Tampines Ave 1, you only get 5 bus stops when on Bedok Reservoir there is many more.

Bedok Nth Rd Extension provides a speedy link to the busy Bedok Reservoir Rd, buses passing that area always have quite a good load.

4 services serving Tampines Ave 1 (after SAFRA) is enough, SBST would rather services use Bedok Reservoir Rd which has more bus stops, thus = more $$$$.

How big is the catchment base of Bedok Reservoir Rd? Don't think that just because a road has more bus stops it will mean more profits. Take for example Yio Chu Kang Rd. Over 30 bus stops, but much of the day buses from services like Sv. 854, Sv. 163, Sv. 855, Sv. 103, etc pass by the bus stops with hardly ANYONE boarding. They just zoom by. Your hypothesis has been debunked.
