<Precious> SG After you people have cooked anything and need an independent assessor to sample and taste your work, dun forget to contact me ok? I volunteer to subject myself to the possibility of food poisoning or vomitting. Then again, I could get an express ticket to taste heaven too!
Wanda SG I think I'll only like the bak choy. How come most of them are like...er....single-ingredient dishes?
viciouskitty74 SG errrr...cant remember liao. I think its cos if i mix ingredients, i do a one pot dish instead.
dreamssie SG hi all, I am new here. I enjoying looking at what others are eating hehe and surfing food blogs. Love watching food shows too.
oOprinceOo SG same here. but can only watch but cannot eat. pple on tv eat abalone i eating plain bread. lol
Wanda SG I've always wondered if we can do a mini bbq along the flat's corridor? There are bbq pits downstairs though.
elindra SG Actually I was thinking if we can do a mini bbq at the staircase landing But dunno neighbours will conplain or not
storywolf SG Can bbq - i bring my portable electrical bbq !!! it have no smoke even can do indoor ... we do outside on corridor !!!
storywolf SG better still get them involve ask them to join in the bbq !! Haha !!! then got whole floor area to play with.
Rhonda SG I think this recipe would work superbly if we substitute the humble shiitake mushrooms with the dua-gong whoopass Grandfather of all Mushrooms, the Portabello! (Excuse me for the coarse language, mate! )
Rhonda SG OK, here's more photo contributions from me! Healthy Brunch on a Leisurely Day. . . Xing Zhou Mee Fen - my very first time cooking this dish and I loooooved the results! Was supposed to split the portion in two to eat another day but, it was so delicious, I ate it all!! And this Bee Hoon Goreng Indian Style is a dish I tried for the first time that works too! I cooked this for a party hosted by one of my colleagues. I had to work the evening shift but I dropped it off at her place before I started work and it was all eaten up. It was hard work too - prepared the rempah from scratch! I'm soooo proud of meself! Tonight, I'm going to tackle Mee Siam! I have to find out how to upload a photo on my mobile of chicken wings that my colleagues raved over. BTW, raw Chicken Wings are soooo darn cheap in Melbourne! A$4.90 / kg! It's almost as if they wanna get rid of it! (Chicken Breasts are like A$8-9 / kg here).
elindra SG Very nice Rhonda! Ang Mos love to eat Chicken Breasts for some reason whereas we don't like it here in Asia
Rhonda SG I think the ang mohs find the chix b reasts healthier and lower in fat content. But I do find them tougher and whilst I know it's definitely healthier to cook and eat them with the skin off, the results aren't so impressive - the meat is often drier and tougher. Recipes? For which dish?
