SINGAPORE: There will be disruptions to train services in
September when the Land Transport Authority (LTA) carries out track
modification works at the Jurong East MRT Station.
There will be no train services between the Jurong East and
Clementi Stations on September 4 and 5.
Also, there will be no train services on September 18 and 19
between the Jurong East and Bukit Batok Stations.
LTA and SMRT will be providing free bus bridging services to ferry
commuters between the affected stations during disruptions which
will occur during weekends.
They have advised commuters to plan ahead for their journeys, to
factor in the additional time needed to transfer from the train to
bus, and vice versa.
The LTA said it has also been working closely with grassroots
leaders to inform the community in affected areas of the service
disruptions and of alternative transport options. -

I bet that
On September 4 & 5:
PSR - CLE (Main line normal service, wow 1980s, I was not even
born then), JKN - LKS (6 ~ 10 trains shuttle train?), LKS - CNG (1
shuttle train or 2, but at most 1 train at each platform ---
Amazing!).
On September 18 and 19:
MRB - BGB (Main line normal service, wow never once with such
arrangement.), BGB - BBT (1 shuttle train or 2, but at most 1 train
at each platform --- Amazing!).
