wait till the day when i go FR.

FR??? Care To Elaborate?

to maintain a 4.5 minutes frequency on the JUR to JKN side, they will need to park trains at both the overruns and at stations. there shouldnt be anything wrong with parking that way for one or two nights.

if a train fails, frequency will be affected and the faulty train parked at the JKN overrun. if one of the trains have to eventually "tow" the train, we are likely to end up having additional bus bridging services. I wonder if SMRT is prepared for this scenario?

Joo Koon - Bukit Batok:
Service 252 to Boon Lay Int. Transfer to Service 157/174/178/187 to get to respective Bukit Batok area & transfer feeder... Haiz :S

Joo Koon is low demand on weekend, 252 can tahan.

BNL - BBT there's 174. To Jurong East there's 198 but would fight w/ neighbourhood ppl for bus.

99 is ideal route but no special branch for this disruption.

But Lakeside, Chinese Garden how?

Taman Jurong to Clementi there's Sv 154.

There's good and bad

ppl at neighbourhood familiar with their bus routes would know how to get away from clustered mess at e MRT stations.

seriously it's not worth to take a feeder, MRT, bridging when I've a direct neighbourhood route to Clementi.

does not go to Jurong East.

lakeside got 98 / 98M / 335 to JE and CNG got 335 to JE

EW26 Lakeside SG

from smrt website: http://www.solution1.com/smrt2008/trains/JEMP_FAQ_01.asp

How will train service at these stations be affected? A shuttle train service will operate between Jurong East and Lakeside Stations while a looped train service will operate between Lakeside and Joo Koon Stations. Commuters travelling from Joo Koon Station to Clementi Station will need to alight at Lakeside Station and board the train bound for Jurong East Station. Commuters continuing their journey to Clementi Station may wish to take the free shuttle bus service to Clementi Station or seek alternative modes of transport.

Please be informed that trains plying between Jurong East and Joo Koon Stations will be travelling at a slower speed. Do pay attention to service announcements and look out for directional signs when travelling in the MRT network during the above mentioned weekend.

While we have made considerable effort to ensure a smooth journey, inconveniences and longer travelling time are unavoidable. We seek all commuters’ understanding.

In any case if really need to crossover at Lakeside, it's going to be a mess.

When did the Chinese Garden, Lakeside, Boon Lay, Pioneer and Joo Koon stations close?

Samuel Lee SG

When did the Chinese Garden, Lakeside, Boon Lay, Pioneer and Joo Koon stations close?

Never close at all. They only have shuttle service. (JKN - LKS and total 2 trains from both side, meaning EB and WB platform has 1 train each to serve JUR - LKS)

Gs97 SG

Just saw that the roofs at je are being put into place (the one that shades you from the sun and rain, not the red beams!)
