I downloaded maplestory entire client in 4 minutes 1.0mbps .... cool right? no accelerating stuff ... just a 10mbps connection ...

Upload quite fast. Don't think my area got BT, even if got, only a few. A 5MB document took me about 5 minutes.

Download is damn slow. From 80kb can drop to 10kb. Sometimes only 1 or 2. As good as dialup. Laughing

if u use the thing like when u download got ask u what type u used like adsl..56k///256k...512k..

so if i choose a highest type will the download be faster if my speeed is only 512?
haha

ndmmxiaomayi SG

Ya, I agree. Took me one whole day to download.

Wonder what he did to his internet connections so that everything is fast.

In Singapore, I find it impossible to do so.

M©+square SG

He talk Kok... Laughing

ndmmxiaomayi SG

Won't. If let's say your speed is 512k, it will slow down to about half or even lesser for upload. Download don't need to say more. You go try downloading and you know liao.

ndmmxiaomayi SG

Square, you haven't sleep?

Net Accelerator

used to have when i was on dialup........................................now..no more

M©+square SG

ok....off liao.....Poof!

ndmmxiaomayi SG

So fast? Laughing

ndmmxiaomayi SG

This one is good. But hor, all my downloads end up in bits and pieces, can't read. Then our national day song lagi worse. File size shows 3MB, when I play the song, 2 seconds nia.

hmm..i think name is net prioritiser... but...they dont have personal home user version anymore..oni comercial or industrial use Crying or Very sad

ceecookie SG

yea..thats the factors to determine whether dl speed is fast or not....
say u dl movies...ah damn slow abt 10-40kb/sec and i had to leave the pc overnite to dl it..but say i dl program from microsoft its like a few hundred kb/sec

i dun mind slow dl speed...what i want is surfing speed....able to load a page in less then 3 sec...

thats why when u download from a site that offer mirror site choose a mirror that have the fastest dl speed..

but btw does distance also determine how long too?

GSL SG

For increasing your download speed, you need to tweak some setting like MTU,TTL,RWIN.

I had tweaked my and my download speed is more faster.

Even testing my download speed on a test website, my download speed is more faster then my friend 6500kbps connection.

chanff8 SG

How come you people all so slow? I download can easily reach 200+kbps

M©+square SG

Which ISP do you use and where do you stay?

M©+square SG

Ok. And how about my question which i asked you?

contact1 SG
