1) VW owns Bugatti.
2) VW owns Audi: "Audi is an automobile maker in Germany, and is a
wholly-owned subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group. The company is
headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany." -Wikipedia
3) No one would buy/drive/get in any manner an Audi A8 to
experience a W engine, just because it is similar to that of the
Bugatti Veyron. In terms of engine design, yes, both are W. But
like I said, the A8 is not in any way as capable as the Veyron in
terms of luxury, speed, power, blah blah blah. It is NOT a sports
car as some geniuses may dream of it to be.
4) Clarkson exaggerates, or rather, hyperbolizes, as he calls it. A
bag of flour over there may not be the same weight over here. How
on earth do you know how much a bag of flour weighs? No offence
mate.
5) Let's get back to the original topic, shall we?
