I know there are heavily modified 1000bhp japanese Supra, but
having power is nothing if you dont have control. And having
1000bhp, that doesnt automatically put you into the super sportscar
category which Bugatti is all about.
I wont say that the Veyron is a best sports car in the world,
because of its weight and turbo lag. But from engineering point of
view (which what people will look for in buying sports cars) it is
a excellent piece of work and a must to buy if you are a serious
car collector.
Maybe it is a bad decision from the bugatti engineers' point of
view because the parameters set even before they hit the draw
board. But for VW branding and image, I think they did a good job.
Without Veyron, do you think we will be talking about bugatti in
this forum?
