some girls are high-maintenance lar. that one you cannot be too nice to them or they will keep expecting high demands from you. If you never grant their wish, they will kick up a fuss and start an argument.

meanwhile, there are also down-to-earth girl who will appreciate your sincerity and kindness. The more you are nicer to them, the easier it is to enjoy a harmonious relationship.

So the root cause is not just the guys but the type of girls they are dating also.

It depends, doesn't it? If you're changing "certain aspects" of yourself for the sake of a woman(given "better" is always subjective in many cases), do you honestly find it prudent to have to alter the same trait 360-degrees(ie.revert back to what you were originally) should you date another woman later who doesn't like the newly-acquired trait?

Truth be told, I think most people would tend to appreciate those who would rather be themselves than those who alter their traits the way a chameleon changes its colours... Laughing
